Enter a monthly contribution, an assumed annual return and a tenure to estimate the maturity amount. Your entered values stay out of analytics.
Formula and assumptions
Maturity amount assumes a fixed monthly contribution and a fixed monthly return, compounded monthly, with each month's contribution made at the start of that month — the standard SIP annuity formula.
- Maturity amount assumes a fixed monthly contribution and a fixed monthly return, compounded monthly, with each month's contribution made at the start of that month.
- The rate you enter is an assumption you choose, never a guarantee — this does not predict what any investment will actually return.
- Money is rounded to 2 decimal places (half up), from the exact figure.

Frequently asked questions
Is a 12% return guaranteed?
No. 12% here is only an example assumption. Mutual fund and equity returns are not guaranteed the way a bank deposit's rate is — enter a rate you consider a reasonable assumption, not a promise.
Does this support a step-up SIP, where the contribution increases each year?
Not yet. This assumes a fixed monthly contribution for the whole tenure.
Why does the formula multiply by (1 + monthly rate) at the end?
Because each month's contribution is assumed to be invested at the start of that month, not the end — the standard convention for SIP calculators.
