Trade Discount Calculator
Apply two or three discounts one after another, such as 20% and then 10%, and see the real net price. Your entered values stay out of analytics.
Formula and assumptions
Final price = list price × (1 − d1) × (1 − d2) × (1 − d3). Effective discount = 1 − (1 − d1)(1 − d2)(1 − d3).
- Each discount applies to the price left after the previous one.
- Discounts are not added together.
- Prices are rounded to 2 decimal places (half up). The effective discount is shown to 2 decimal places and the total payable is the rounded unit price times quantity.

Frequently asked questions
Why is 20% plus 10% not 30%?
The second discount is taken from the already reduced price, so it removes less. 10% of ₹800 is ₹80, not ₹100.
Does the order of the discounts matter?
No. Multiplication gives the same final price in any order, though the price shown after each step changes.
When should I use the single Discount Calculator?
Use it when there is only one percentage discount, for example a sale price.
